The Tate Modern in London was opened in 1999. It's sort of the shopping center where instead of Zaras and H & M's are Picassos and Rothkos. Visitors seem to go shopping, has become almost obligatory visit for its location, is between London Bridge and Big Ben. The funny thing is that people do not have to be very interested in contemporary art as in their rooms with bars and shops. It has a couple of kiosks, bookstores, gift shops at the entrance and exit of each exposure, a bar with possibly the best views of the city on the seventh floor ... Here's everything together, a bit dodgy but it is wrapped perfectly with each other. And although it has been accused of trivializing art and culture, and to popularize, commercialize and marketinizar spaces of artistic expression, other museums like the Guggenheim have already taken note of the proposal ...
